Okanagan International Half Marathon: Heather Johnson ran a 1:28:48 placing 2nd in age category 30-39 and fourth overall. This pretty much matches her time from last year. Good job Heather!
Chicago Marathon: Angus Cowan ran 3:05:55. We were hoping for a sub- 3 hour marathon but I know the conditions may have been challenging. Regardless, great result for Angus.
In other news- my nephew Blair Yaworski signed an AHL contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets farm team Syracuse Crunch. Nice work Blair. Blair has worked really hard for this and has been playing awesome. He is living his dream! Is that not what we all should be doing?
